History

Dr. Dennis Slavin, M.D. is a Board Certified Anesthesiologist.  He holds the Certificate of Advanced Qualification in Pain Medicine from the American Board of Anethesiology and is a Diplomate of the American Board of Pain Medicine.  Dr. Slavin attended Adelphi University and Statue University of New York at Brooklyn School of Medicine.  After Anesthesia Residency at SUNY Brooklyn.  He worked locum tenens through the country for one year, then relocated to South Texas.  He has been on staff at Knapp Medical Center since 1994.  He is an avid golfer and enjoys traveling with his wife and familiy.

Dennis Slavin, M.D. has been in the Mid-Valley since 1994. Dr. Slavin treats all types of pain including but not limited to: sciatica, herniated disk, pain after shingles, neck pain, low back with injections and Medical management.
